Arequipe Delights and Chocolates

Arequipa cookie covered with white cholate black cholate and arequipe decoration.

  • 1 cup flour, sifted
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoons dulce de leche, or essence of arequipe
  • couverture chocolate, White
  • couverture chocolate, black
Preparation

  • Mix the sugar and butter.
  • Then add the flour, the egg and the dulce de leche (arequipe) and the teaspoon of salt.
  • Preheat the oven to 250ºC then bake the cookies for 15 minutes.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool.
  • Then cover it with black chocolate and add white chocolate.
  • Decorate with dulce de leche.
